A personality test

Today I met up with a couple of my friends and spent the afternoon and evening together. We cooked, ate and watched Running Man and they also showed me a personality test online which I found really accurate so I wanted to share it. The test is called Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test and is based on four different categories or opposites if you like.

• Extraversion - Introversion
• Sensing - Intuition
• Thinking - Feeling
• Judging-Perceiving

In every category you get either one or the other and together they build a four letter code and every code have a different description. The code I got was INFJ (introversion, iNtuition, feeling, judging) and some of the main point in my personality was describe quite accurate. For instance the test said that I was a person who is deeply concerned about my relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large. But that I also only can be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few like my long-term friends, family, and soul mates. It was also written that even if I thought my relationships was important and that I often feel responsibility for the things I was involved in I sometimes needed to withdraw into myself and then shutting out  even the persons closest to me.

everything of this I find true. I am often really aware of my relationship towards other people and I am also somewhat aware of the bigger picture of human being out there and feel a connection to it as well. The thing about only being able to really get intimate with the people closest is also true, I can be a friend to many but I cant discuss and show all of them everything inside. I almost laughed when I read about the part about somtimes shuting others out because it is something my mom has always pointed out in my personlaity. Sometimes I feel like everything is just to much and I want to be alone. sometimes for an hour or two and sometimes for days depending on how I feel. 

The test also describes me as a feeling person, that I often act on my feelings rather than logic and that I often know the background of how people feels and acts. It was also written that INFJ's is good with inspiring jobs like teaching, something that really made me happy. So as you see I felt like this test really found out my personality in some aspects even if some of the questions is hard to answer with a blank yes or no. I think you have to answer it quickly and not overthink the questions. Hope you will try it out! 





 
 

Bones

Ohh! almost all of the TV-series (American ones) I follow has started up again and I'm so happy to have something to watch again. But it is also hard when i realize how many they really are, how will I be able to have the time to watch? Maybe I have to drop one? or two? But I like them all! Anyhow, I thougt i would introduce you a little more to some of my favorites so here is the first:

The first of the series I want to introduce is Bones and started to run 2005. This fall the 8 season began, you can already there grasp how popular it has become. I first got in contact whit it through Swedish television maybe five six years ago at least but at that time it wasn't as easy to get a hold of it and they took there time to run it. Sometime I missed an episode or two as well... Later on I started to watch it all from the beginning and right now I am in the middle of buying the series on DVD. My fiancé and I have started to watch it from the beginning again and I am really happy that he likes one of my favourite shows as well.

So what is so good about it then? Well maybe some of you already know about it so I write this for you who haven't watched it yet. The name Bones refers to the woman who is in the centre of the show. Her name is Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and works as a forensic anthropologist in the Jeffersonian institute, her speciality is bones and therefore she as got the nickname Bones. She starts to work together with an FBI-agent named Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) on a murder case and later on they became a permanent team.

Over all it looks like just any other crime-series out there but for me it is special. You get in contact wit many different personalities during there investigations. Brennan only believe in scientific evidence and finds it hard to sometime understand the more human and psychology bits in there cases. Booth on the other hand often acts on his gut-feeling and leave the science to Brennan and her "squintsquad" (the other people that works in the Jeffersonian). So you see, the show keeps a lot of different aspects and these differences also leads to a lot of personal problems in between the characters. The growing sexual tension between Brennan and Booth doesn't make it any worse either.

every case is different in some way and sometimes the work also get intervene with the characters personal life. I don't want to give any example because I am afraid to give you some spoilers but I can promise that it is interesting. A thing I have found some humour in is the naming of the episodes. Almost every episode gives a hint about the contents by answer the question what and were. For example The Man in the SUV and The Soldier on the Grave. These gives you an hint that makes it interesting but you don't really understand before you watched the episode. Somewhat this reminds me of the Morse code in the beginning of every episode of the series Jericho (another show that I find interesting).

David Boreanaz as Angel

Beside the story in Bones it is one other thing that makes me like it so much and that is David Boreanaz! I am not unhappy with any of the actors, I like them all, but David is still my favourite. He was even before Bones on of my secret crushes. He plays the awesome vampire Angel in Buffy: the Vampire Killer and also in the spin-of called Angel. In Buffy and Angel he was a bit younger but he then played a character who was a lot darker and one-sided (I actually liked Spike more). When I watch him in Bones you can see that he got better at acting and now he plays a more humanly character filled with life and humour. Booth is more my type of man and I am really happy that he got to play that role.

And there you have it, I don't really know what more to write about Bones. I hope you will watch the show if you haven't already ^__^

Exams and new books

Yesterday I had a one day exam and I wrote in total 2260 words about the history of the Swedish school system in less than 8 hours. So tired afterwards  I really hope I am going to pass, otherwise I am going to have to write a supplement :/

Today the next part of the course is starting with a lecture on international perspectives that sound interesting and hopefully it isn't going to be as much problems this time as it was with last weeks lectures. I don't want to study today actually, yesterday was enough for the whole week according to me, but if I have to I will do it, like all the other times! Fighting! 

On another note I got my book package two days ago containing one textbook for school, two manga; Happy Hustle High 4&5, and a urban fantasy called Shadow's Fall by Dianne Sylvan. I don't really know which one I am most happy about. It is about time that I bought the last two of the Happy Hustle High-series, the first one I bought a lot of years ago but then I started reading the manga online and haven't made the time and money to buy the last two. Now I finally have and the series is complete! 

On the other hand have I already read two of Dianne Sylvan's Shadow World books and now I have the third one. And this on I haven't read already (unlike the manga) so I am looking forward towards it! Hopefully I can get some fictional reading in between the studying. 

I am at least really sure that the book I am the least happy about is the most expensive one, the textbook. It is called Lära till Lärare and in the beginning of this semester I found it in the library and thought I didn't have to buy it. But it is a lot of the pages that we have to read and my loan period expired and someone wanted the book after me, so the easiest way was to buy it instead. 

And here I am, with a couple of new books, no space left in my bookshelf, almost no money left and tired. Maybe it is time I stop pity myself and try to get the energy back? I have to try anyhow, my lecture starts in less than an hour. At least I got to sleep late this morning!

Gangnam style-hysteria

To begin with; yes, I am writing in English. Have to try if I can. I was thinking that this way I would be able to exercise my English and at the same time maybe reach more people. We will see if I continue like this or switch back to Swedish.

But at least I hope you can overlook the mistakes I surely will make.

So, back on topic: I am going to write about PSY and Gangnam Style and the phenomena it has become. Again! I got the energy to start up the topic again yesterday when Nyhetsmorgon (on of the morning news shows in Sweden) brought up the subject. They talked about how this P.S.Y (yes, they did take it letter by letter xD) suddenly had brought k-pop around the world through Youtube. They also talked about the Gangnam Style-flashmob in Stockholm last weekend where like 300-400 people partisipated. 

I don't know what I should feel. I think it is wonderful for PSY (and all the other band/artist) who is getting the attention, they really deserve it. But at the same time it bothers me that so much people, who doesn't know enough about k-pop and its industry, talk about it. It feels as if the world suddenly is full with wannabes and people with the wrong impression of what it is all about. 

I am also a little bit afraid that PSY is going to be the mental picture of k-pop and the Korean music industry. Don't get me wrong, PSY is awesome and have many years behind him as an icon in Korea, but he is not the average k-pop idol.  PSY have unusual control and influences over his music and a lot of other idols in Korea doesn't have that opportunity. PSY also have a little different style than most of them, He isn't gorgeous to look at but instead his music is filled with humour and happiness. I am afraid that all the new interested people somewhat gets disappointed when the later on encounters other k-pop artist and doesn't give them the love they deserves. 

Hopefully my fear is not going to be fulfilled but only time can tell, in the meantime I will try not to worry about it. Some of us was here long before Gangnam Style and if the interest decreases we will remain! 
 

U-KISS - Stop Girl

Jag har velat gjort det här inlägget i flera dagar men det har hela tiden kommit saker emellan. Men nu äntligen! U-KISS  har i veckan kommit ut med sin nya låt som dessutom är huvudspåret på deras sjunde minialbum med samma namn.

Till och börja med måste det nämnas att videon förekommer i två versioner, först den svart-vita och sedan en i färg. Dock är den i färg svår att få tag i och jag har klumpat mig och tappat bort länken till den färgglada "dolda" videon på Youtube. Strunt samma, jag föredrar den i svartvitt facktiskt!

När man granskar texten till Stop Girl så är den ganska gripande då den handlar om en kille som älskar sin flickvän men de har så mycket stridigheter och liknande mellan sig att han nu är trött och vill lägga av. En text som ger videon och låten ett djup. Musiken känns väldigt mycket som U-KISS också, man hör att det är en av deras låtar och det är ett bevis i min värld för att man hittat sin egen plats som band/musiker. Man ska ha det där egna soundet. 

Till detta tycker jag den här svartvita videon faktiskt passar, den blir på något sätt stilren och låter låten få det utrymme den förtjänar. Trots det blir det inte tråkigt. Hur kan det bli det när snygga killar dansar så pass bra som pojkarna i U-KISS gör? Det ser även genomtänkt ut med kläder m.m. som gör att man får kontraster i videon med olika mönster och färger. 

Appropå dansen, så måste jag säga att mina favoritögonblick är när  två av killarna, jag tror det är Kevin och Soohyun, (sorry alla Kissmes om jag har fel!) dansar ensam med en tjej. Speciellt Kevin på det schackrutiga golvet. Både coolt och HOT! För övrigt så är det just dessa kvinnliga bakgrundsdansare som ger videon något nytt, vad jag minns har de inte haft så här många olika kvinnor i en video tidigare?

Tidigare har jag sagt mig inte vara något särskilt stort fan till U-KISS men de senaste dagarna har det gått upp för mig att de på löpande band serverar låtar jag verkligen gillar, kanske är det dags att tänka om?

SPICA - I'll Be There

Det första jag tänkte när jag hörde den här låten var "schlager", den skulle utan vidare passa in i melodifestivalen, gärna för ett par år sedan. Med detta menar jag egentligen inget negativt om SPICA, för att vara en så pass ny grupp (de debuterade i Januari i år) så känns de rutinerade och just den här låten får i alla fall mig att gå runt och smånynna I'll Be There om och om igen.

Budskapet i texten handlar ju främst om tillit och delad styrka, det låter som om tjejerna sjunger till sina "pojkvänner" att de inte alltid behöver vara starka och ensamma utan att de stöttar varandra. Ett budskap som faktiskt känns lite passande. 

Sen kommer det då till videon. För mig kändes den ganska tråkig, jag tror jag ledsnat på att se ett gäng tjejer dansa i ett nästan helt vitt rum i över halva videon. Något positivt om det är i alla fall att de har jeans på sig under de scenerna, inga kortkorta kjolar eller shorts som visar kilometervis med ben (även nu om de visar rätt mycket hud mellan tröjan och byxorna samt i hålen runt knäna). De spelar på en coolare och kanske lite oskyldigare stil som jag själv föredrar, i alla fall för de här flickorna.

Sen kommer vi till DJ-båset. Jag kan bara säga "No freaking way, de har en ko!". För att ha gått från en ganska medelmåttig video så blir de lite mer intressant, det sticker i alla fall ut. Jag fann mig själv sittandes och leta efter den där kossan genom resten av videon första gången jag såg den.

Hur känns då enheten? Det är ju inte en dålig video eller låt, men det är inte världsomvälvande heller utan ganska medelmåttig. Jag måste tyvärr säga att inte ens en ko kan göra att vi kommer ifrån det. Men den är värd att lyssna på emellanåt ändå, speciellt när man behöver lyftas upp av något.

Full fart!

Full fart frammåt! Det känns i alla fall som om det är mitt livs motto just nu. Ibland skulle jag bara vilja stanna upp, ta ett djupa andetag och bara vara. Men jag har inte tid och inte ro till det heller.

Idag blev jag väckt runt sextiden av en leksugen och lite galen kattunge på 4 månader. Hon studsar upp och ner på ett sätt som får mig att fundera om hon har fjädrar fäst under fötterna. Och lagom till dess att jag absolut inte kan somna om igen så lägger hon sig nöjd i sängen och somnar om.

Det har varit full fart efter det, bäddat sängen, ätit frukost, kollat lite på Vakna med the Voice. Nu är det två timmars föreläsning om värdegrunden som gäller och sen  blir det att läsa nära nog 70 sidor studielitteratur, gärna lite till så jag ligger lite före. Planen är också att kanske hinna med att tömma diskmaskinen ta reda på lortdisken på bänken och i kväll blir det en timmes träning innan jag äntligen kan slappna av. 

Jag vill ha tid att kolla på Bones-avsnittet som jag tror kom ut igår, kolla lite uppdateringar från Eat Your Kimchi och kika lite mer på Running Man, men det kanske är lite för mycket begärt... Nu när jag tänker på det kanske jag kan överlåta på sambon att ta reda på disk och tänka ut lite middag idag, han har i alla fall inget träningspass idag. Hehe! det kan han få lov att fixa!

Yosh! Dags att ta tag i dagen, vi får se vad som sker. Fighting!

G-Dragon - Crayon

Det första jag tänkte när jag startade videon var "OMFG! Nu gäller det att koncentrera sig här. Vad tänkte de på?" Efter att ha kikat på videon några gånger nu efter varandra så blir låten lite lättare att hantera men det kommer nog inte bli en av mina favoriter.

Jag blev så kär i G-Dragon's That XX att mina förväntningar nog var på ett annat plan. That XX var lugn och vacker, fylld med kärlek och längtan och akompanjerad med en enkel gittar. En kombination som går rätt in i hjärtat på mig. En sån låt jag kan skratta av lycka och gråta av sorg till. Och sen kommer det här?

Visst kan jag förstå att Crayon är gjord för att visa GD's "roligare" sidor, och visst framkommer det tydligt i videon med alla galna kläder, färger, dunsande musik m.m. Eller vad säger ni om badringsankan? Eller pinocchio-näsan (som för övrigt växer och står när han kollar på flickors rumpor, bara jag som får dirty thoughts?). Eller varför inte GD utklädd till tjej?

Nu när jag tänker på det kanske det är det som är poängen med det hela? Att som när man låter ett barn leka fullt ut med kritor så blir det bara en salig blandning av alltihop? "Get your crayon!" är ett sätt att släppa lös fantasin, ta bort allvaret och göra det på ett coolt sätt. Men för mig faller det lite på att det bara känns som om de slängt in lite av allt möjligt och gjort en video av det. Jag får i alla fall ingen rätsida på det hela.  Jag tycker att om de nu satsar på att få lite swag genom att släppa loss, behövs det i så fall lite mer stil i det hela.

Fast strunt samma, GD är ju i alla fall söt i en sån galen miljö, så det är ju något man kan koncentrera sig på, och sen glömmer vi lägligt bort det andra? Jag kommer nog i alla fall i fortsättningen, när jag kollar mig i spegeln på morgonen, köra en "swag check", precis som GD verkar göra.

Gangnam Style och annan ny K-pop

Eftersom jag varit rätt frånvarande ett tag så har jag helt missat att skriva om Hela Gangnam style-boomen som kommit. Kort och gott, den rutinerade k-pop artisten PSY har med sin Gangnam Style tagit världen med storm. Låter och videon är awesome men nu har jag börjat tröttna lite på det hela, främst för att så mycket annan bra musik har hamnat i bakgrunden. PSY själv har redan tidigare gjort bra musik, så ni som börjat gilla Gangnam Style uppmanar jag till att kolla på lite fler av de saker han tidigare gjort, så som låten Right Now:

Men anledningen till varför jag gjorde det här inlägget var egentligen inte för att tipsa om flera av PSYs bra låtar, utan snarare ett sätt att utrycka beundrarn för några andra kpop-artister och deras senaste kreaktioner.
